Here, There, and Everywhere

It's been a busy spring!  As you may know, my neighbor's building burned to the ground in late March. I prefer a less destructive form of spring cleaning, but nobody asked me.  Luckily the contents of my studio were unscathed, but the apartment did sustain some damage so we're displaced until that can be finished.  Despite all this, opportunities keep coming my way, and I'm feeling really positive about my art.

An Announcement and a Sale

I'm excited to announce that I've been awarded a month-long residency at the Vermont Studio Center, the largest artist/writer residency in the United States.  Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'll be in the little town of Johnson, Vermont - drawing, painting, and writing to my heart's content.  I'm looking forward to (and a little overwhelmed by) the opportunity to step out of the daily grind and focus all of my energy on creating new work.
