While I was painting Dentata (A Safe Girl to Love) I was doodling this, although it took me a couple more years to actually get around to printing it.
This image was printed in 4 layers, -- pale ochre, pink, blue-gray, and mild black -- each printed in transparent colors mixed from acrylic matte medium and a combination of various inks and paints. This unorthodox printing ink created a great texture of tiny bubbles and other variations between prints.
The layers were hand-painted onto the screen, and barely lasted through the short run, so 25 is all there will ever be of this design.
The paper is trimmed to 10" tall by 8" wide, with plenty of room for matting if desired. Each one is signed, dated, and numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
